DarkBASIC has been proud to receive many different awards since its release in 1999. Here we highlight a few of the more recent ones.
At the tail-end of 2002 DarkBASIC was proud to receive two of the most prestigious IT awards available in Russia. The first award was an experts' vote where DarkBASIC won first prize in the category of Computer Creativity at the annual all-Russian contest of multimedia CD-ROMs Content 2002. The second award came a few days later when DarkBASIC also scooped the Best Product 2002 award in the Home Entertainment CD-Rom category from PC World magazine - Russian Edition. On Friday 7th February 2003 Lee Bamber and associates represented "Dark Basic Software" in the local Wigan and Leigh Business Awards and walked away with a special commendation award. Of all the businesses in the local area, Dark Basic Software was short-listed as a finalist and invited to a glamorous four-course meal and award ceremony. At the reception, Lee met the guest speaker Mrs Felicity Goodie who also presented the award. |

Every year the on-line software retailer Share-It in association with ZD-Net Germany and ZD-Net UK host the Isidor awards. They hand out awards to the best software packages in one of 9 different areas. In 2002 DarkBASIC was very happy to receive an award for second place in the category of best Development software. |
